Ongoing India Project

Since February 2014, Adroit have been working with and on behalf of Sheffield Hallam University designing, developing and gaining funding for a two year project seeking access to justice for women and girls. The project began in June 2017 under the auspices of the new Helena Kennedy Centre for International Justice, since when Adroit have assisted with implementation and advised on strategic and management decisions. The project has so far delivered training to police trainers in four Indian states: Punjab, Hariyana, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh,  on how to respond to violence against women and girls and facilitate the best possible treatment and outcomes for them, as well as working to end the problem.
